Spread a Smile recently completed its 5‑day appeal to raise £200,000 in support of seriously ill children and their families and we’re delighted to share that we hit our target.
Although the appeal has finished, donations are still very welcome and will continue to make a real difference.

How I Support Charities
As a full‑time entertainer, my busiest times are weekends performing at birthday parties, public functions and family events.
I’m regularly asked to support charity fundraisers, and while I’d love to say 'yes' to every request, it simply isn’t sustainable or fair to offer reduced or free performances to some charities and not others.
To make sure I can genuinely give back in a meaningful and consistent way, I’ve chosen Spread a Smile as my nominated charity.
That’s not to say I won’t support other charities, more on that later.
Why Spread a Smile?
Spread a Smile is an incredible charity that brings joy, laughter, and unforgettable experiences to seriously ill children and their families. Their team of entertainers, artists, therapists and magicians like me visit hospitals and hospices to brighten some of the toughest days a family can face.
As a magician and entertainer, I’ve seen first‑hand how powerful a moment of laughter can be. Supporting Spread a Smile allows me to use my skills to help create those moments, whether that’s performing at events, helping raise awareness, or contributing to fundraising initiatives throughout the year.
How I Support Spread a Smile
Throughout the year, I support Spread a Smile by performing virtual sessions to those in isolation, in person visits to major hospitals in the area, at selected events, helping with fundraising activities as well as contributing my time and skills to their mission.
It’s a privilege to be part of the wider team of entertainers who help bring smiles to children and families who need them most.
What About Other Charities?
I’m always happy to be considered for charity events, and many organisations do have budgets allocated for professional entertainment. Having a popular entertainer featured in your promotional material can significantly boost footfall and engagement.
I’m always open to discussing how I can support your event. While my I dedicate a lot of my spare time to Spread a Smile, I’m very happy to work with other charities at my standard performance fee, you'll get full promotional assests and your event will be added to the online events calendar - See Krisgar Live!
